Website Developer

We are looking for versatile Website Developer to join our software team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence, driving inbound leads, and supporting our overall digital marketing strategy. The candidate shall have a strong foundation in WordPress development, designing brochures and a solid understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices tailored for the B2B landscape. Responsibilities: Design and build responsive, high-performance WordPress websites and landing pages. Customize themes/plugins and develop custom features using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ensure website security, speed, and cross-browser compatibility. Troubleshoot and fix website issues; manage backups and version control. Create website banners and social media graphics. Optimize all designs for web usage and maintain brand consistency. Implement on-page and technical SEO (meta tags, schema, sitemaps). Conduct keyword research and integrate keywords into content. Monitor performance with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc. Resolve technical SEO issues and stay updated on trends. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2+ years of proven experience in website development with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress expertise. Deep knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices , including custom theme development, plugin customization, and child themes. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL. Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap). Demonstrable experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva). Solid understanding of SEO principles and practical experience implementing on-page and technical SEO. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO/web analytics tools. Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, & email marketing). Education Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field
