Website Developer & Designer

You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. You will translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, high-quality code. Additionally, you will build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP and JavaScript code. Optimizing website performance, speed, and SEO will be a key aspect of your role. You will also work with APIs, databases, and third-party integrations. Occasionally, you may collaborate on app development projects and identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust code and smooth functionality. - 1+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, CMS customization) - Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS, and HTML - Working knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility - Experience using Git or other version control tools - Basic experience with mobile/web app development (e.g., hybrid apps, APIs, or frameworks like Flutter/React Native - a plus) - Strong attention to detail and coding standards - Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively - Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - Comfortable translating business or client requirements into technical execution Preferred Skills: - Experience building dynamic or content-heavy portals - Familiarity with design tools like Photoshop, Figma, or similar - Understanding of hosting, DNS, and deployment processes - Laravel experience is a plus, but not mandatory If you're a creative thinker who loves WordPress and wants to explore app-building too, we would love to hear from you.
