Web Solutions Engineer, Global Partnerships Tools

Role Overview: You will be working in an agile environment, prototyping solutions and operating with ambiguous requirements. Your main responsibility will be to design, build, and deploy software platforms for teams within Global Partnership Tools. It is essential to ensure that all technical solutions are designed following the best software engineering practices at Google. Additionally, you will collaborate with product teams to enhance tools and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools. Writing technical documents, including design, development, revision documents, and reviewing code in compiled or scripted languages will also be part of your role. Analyzing, reviewing, and modifying programs to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements, as well as executing testing, debugging, maintenance, or program updates, will also fall under your responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development. - 2 years of experience in full-stack software development. - Experience with front end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript). - Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++). - Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). - 2 years of experience designing and optimizing databases (preferred). - 2 years of experience with cloud, containerized, or microservice architectures (preferred). - 2 years of experience collaborating with team and business stakeholders on project requirements (preferred).,
