Job Title: Endpoint Protection Engineer - Server TrendMicro, OPSWAT Sandboxing, File/Web/API Scan Engine Job Type: Full-Time - onsite (Saudi Arabia) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Protection Engineer with expertise in TrendMicro , OPSWAT Sandboxing , and File/Web/API Scan Engines , with a strong focus on cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint protection solutions to secure our organization's servers, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints against advanced threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security, endpoint protection technologies, and the ability to integrate and optimize security solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Endpoint Protection Management: - Deploy, configure, and manage TrendMicro endpoint protection solutions for servers and cloud-based workloads. - Monitor and maintain endpoint security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards. - Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to endpoint protection systems. 2. OPSWAT Sandboxing and File/Web/API Scanning: - Implement and manage OPSWAT MetaDefender solutions for sandboxing, file, web, and API scanning to detect and mitigate advanced threats. - Analyze and respond to threats identified through sandboxing and scanning engines. - Fine-tune scanning policies and rules to minimize false positives and improve detection rates. 3. Cloud Security Focus: - Design and implement endpoint protection strategies for cloud environments (e.g., OCI, Azure, GCP). - Integrate endpoint protection solutions with cloud-native security tools and services. - Ensure seamless protection across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. 4. Threat Detection and Incident Response: - Investigate and respond to endpoint security incidents, including malware, ransomware, and zero-day attacks. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Collaborate with the SOC (Security Operations Center) team to enhance threat detection capabilities. 5. Automation and Optimization: - Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline endpoint protection processes. - Optimize endpoint protection configurations for performance and scalability in cloud environments. 6. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain detailed documentation of endpoint protection configurations, policies, and procedures. - Generate regular reports on endpoint security status, incidents, and mitigation efforts. 7. Collaboration and Training: - Work closely with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure endpoint protection aligns with organizational goals. - Provide training and support to internal teams on endpoint protection best practices and tools. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. - Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Experience: - 6-10 years of experience in endpoint protection, with a focus on TrendMicro and OPSWAT solutions. - Hands-on experience with OPSWAT MetaDefender for sandboxing, file, web, and API scanning. - Proven experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating endpoint protection tools with cloud-native services. - Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. Certifications: - TrendMicro Certified Professional (e.g., Trend Micro Certified Security Associate). - OPSWAT certifications (e.g., OPSWAT Certified MetaDefender Engineer). - Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer). - Other relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus. Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of endpoint protection technologies and threat detection mechanisms. - Proficiency in configuring and managing TrendMicro and OPSWAT solutions. - Experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g., OCI, Azure Sentinel, GCP Security Command Center). - Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). - Understanding of API security and integration. Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
