Web Developer (Wordpress)

As a WordPress Web Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing custom websites and web applications using WordPress. You will be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements. Collaboration with designers, content creators, and other developers will be essential to deliver engaging, user-friendly solutions. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing websites for speed, performance, responsiveness, and SEO best practices. Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities will be part of your routine tasks. Ensuring consistent branding, style, and functionality across various platforms and browsers will also be crucial. Additionally, you will conduct website testing, debugging, and regular updates while integrating third-party APIs, plugins, and tools as necessary. To excel in this role, you should stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to WordPress development. Mentoring junior developers when needed and participating in code reviews will also be expected from you. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience) along with proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. You should also possess experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins and be familiar with website optimization techniques like caching and image optimization.
