Web Developer

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD mockups and wireframes into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Write maintainable and well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Ensure code quality through version control (Git) and code reviews.
• Work closely with back-end developers to connect front-end UI with APIs and databases.
• Test UI/UX functionality across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility (a11y), and SEO best practices.
• Build modular, high-performance UI components using JavaScript frameworks.
• Translate business and UX requirements into scalable frontend architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.

Back-End Development

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and databases.
• Integrate RESTful / GraphQL APIs and manage data flow between front-end and back-end.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and database interactions.
• Ensure security, scalability, and optimized performance of web applications.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of responsive web design principles and accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and browser internals.
• Advanced Web Concepts: Familiarity with advanced web development topics (e.g., browser APIs, build tools).
• Modern Frameworks & Ecosystem: Strong grasp of JavaScript framework concepts (e.g., component architecture, state management).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs to integrate with backend services.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and delivering full-stack components, including backend integration and API interaction.
• Passionate about design systems, UX patterns, and micro interactions.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in web solutions and services development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap)
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS, Sass)
• (React.js / Vue.js / Next.js) Proficient in building scalable and efficient user interfaces with React.js, with a focus on optimizing performance and improving user experience.
• Node.js / Express.js / PHP / Laravel
• MySQL / MongoDB
• API Development

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
• Design Tools Familiarity, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch (to better collaborate with designers).
• State Management Libraries, Redux, MobX, Recoil, or Zustand.
• Animation Libraries, GSAP, Framer Motion, Lottie.
• SEO Best Practices, structured data, meta tags, Core Web Vitals.
• Agile / Jira / Asana workflow knowledge
