Web Designer / Sr. Web Designer

As a Web Designer at TechnoEmpire Systems, your role involves planning, creating, and coding web pages to produce websites that align with customer requirements. Your responsibilities include: - Meeting with clients to understand their needs and maintaining regular communication with them - Drafting detailed website specifications - Designing sample page layouts, including text size and colors - Creating graphics, animations, and manipulating digital photographs - Coding using various software tools - Collaborating with different content management systems - Implementing search engine optimization strategies - Designing the website's visual imagery in line with company branding or client requirements - Proofreading content and making necessary changes - Editing content, debugging code, and redesigning web pages - Working with other web specialists, such as web developers and graphic designers - Testing websites to ensure functionality - Providing post-sales technical support - Conducting training for client staff - Researching current design trends and engaging in continual professional development to stay updated with new software developments The expected competencies for this role include proficiency in HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Responsive Design, and Bootstrap. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic tools is essential. Proven work samples showcasing highly creative designs are preferred, with a background in Fine Arts considered an advantage. Awareness of web designing trends and norms, as well as the ability to work in alignment with team interests, are key attributes. Please note that there are 2 openings for this position, and the relevant experience required is 1 to 2 years. The standard working hours are 9:30 am to 7 pm, with the possibility of additional hours in the evenings or on weekends to meet deadlines.
