Web Designer / Sr. Web Designer

As a Web Designer at TechnoEmpire Systems, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and coding web pages using a combination of non-technical and technical skills to develop websites that meet the requirements of our clients. Your duties will include meeting with clients to understand their needs, drafting detailed website specifications, designing sample page layouts, creating graphics and animations, coding using various software, working with content management systems, and optimizing websites for search engines. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing visual imagery in alignment with company branding policies, proofreading and editing content, debugging code, collaborating with other web specialists such as developers and graphic designers, conducting website testing, providing post-sales technical support, offering training to clients staff, researching design trends, and engaging in continual professional development to stay updated with new software advancements. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Responsive Design, and Bootstrap, with knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic tools being an added advantage. Candidates with proven work samples demonstrating highly creative designs will be given preference. A background in Fine Arts will be considered advantageous, along with an awareness of current web design trends and norms, and the ability to work well within a team environment. This position offers 2 openings and requires candidates to have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. The standard working hours are from 9:30 am to 7 pm, with the possibility of additional hours during evenings or weekends to meet project deadlines. Some roles may involve on-call availability to address unexpected issues at any time.
