Role Overview: As a Web Designer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing new interfaces for users, developing website design strategies with a focus on user experience, and collaborating with SEO specialists to optimize site content. You will actively participate in UI/UX meetings, provide expertise and initial mockup sketches, and contribute to the creation of a style guide that dictates the colors, fonts, and design patterns used in our web app. Your role will require a strong appreciation for user-centered design and excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Business. You will also be expected to adhere to design standards, guidelines, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new interfaces for users - Develop website design strategy for new builds with a focus on user experience - Collaborate with SEO specialist on optimizing site content - Participate in UI/UX meetings and provide expertise and mockup sketches - Contribute to the creation of a style guide for the web app - Utilize design standards, guidelines, and best practices Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in design, computer science, or a relevant field - Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - Proficiency in front-end web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript - Good understanding of content management systems and search engine optimization principles - Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues - Excellent visual design skills - Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies - Creative, open to new ideas, adaptable, and willing to learn new techniques - Excellent communication skills - Graphics designing skill is a plus Company Details: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.
