Web Content Coordinator

Role Overview: As a Web Content Coordinator at Elsevier, you will be responsible for creating and updating journal websites, integrating curated content, and ensuring that medical, nursing, dental, and life sciences content reaches customers. You will work closely with stakeholders to maintain web journal websites and resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities: - Create and update journal websites by using a web content management system or text editor - Integrate new designs into existing websites and ensure adherence to brand and platform guidelines - Make content freely available and update image, audio, and video files - Create and modify templates, check content, and functionality of platform build - Meet team productivity standards, review workflows, suggest improvements, and lead or participate in enhancements - Create and maintain departmental procedures and documents, as well as a database of metadata for each title - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to maintain web journal websites and address any problems Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in delivering web-based content - Familiarity with publishing and production-related fields - Comfortable working in a 2 PM to 11 PM shift - Attention to detail and deadlines, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication skills and ability to translate requests into user-friendly web pages - Experience working with stakeholders and managing their expectations - Understanding of HTML5 and CSS, with the ability to create and modify as needed Additional Details: Elsevier is a global leader in information and analytics, supporting researchers and healthcare professionals in advancing science and improving health outcomes.
