Web Analytics Analyst

As a Web Analytics Consultant at TransUnion, your primary responsibility will be to collect and analyze website data to measure high-volume web properties. By leveraging the data streams you establish, you will be able to generate insights on consumer behaviors and identify opportunities for product improvements. Your role will involve monitoring trends, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting the planning and evaluation of web property tagging for analytics and marketing purposes. Collaboration with the Digital Marketing team to track the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns and evaluating the performance of process flows and website experiments will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will partner with other team members to extract, combine, clean, and analyze data sourced from different repositories. You should hold a Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics. Proficiency in Google Tag Manager or similar tag management solutions, data analysis tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, and experience with data visualization tools such as Apache Superset or Looker Studio are required. Familiarity with web technologies, tracking implementations, and writing SQL queries for data extraction is essential. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms like AWS or GCP and knowledge of data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis techniques will be beneficial. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of professional experience focused on data engineering, reporting, or statistical analysis. Experience in the Financial Services industry, understanding of database design, marketing analytics, and implementation of marketing tech are preferred. This is a hybrid position that involves performing job responsibilities both virtually and in-person at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week.
