About the Role:
Grahak Mitra is a customer-assistance role introduced under SBIs Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) initiative. The primary objective is to provide personal attention to walk-in customers, assist in banking transactions, and support the adoption of digital channels.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: 21 to 30 years
Qualification: Graduate (Minimum)
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Preference to candidates from Service Industry / BFSI
Sales experience candidates preferred
Language:
Local language – Read / Write / Speak
English – Read / Write
Note: Candidates must be from nearby locations only (Not from far areas like Guwahati, etc.)
Salary:
20,000/- per month
Roles & Responsibilities:
Guide customers in using self-service banking channels.
Help customers provide feedback on services.
Assist walk-in customers with transactions and queries.
Promote ATM, ADWM, INB, YONO, and other digital platforms.
Provide product and service information to customers.
Give priority support to HNI/Wealth/Premier customers.
Supply forms, brochures, and applications when required.
Assist elderly or less tech-savvy customers in digital adoption.
Ensure no customer is left unattended in the waiting area.
Inform customers about toll-free numbers, call center, WhatsApp banking, etc.
Guide customers to concerned officers for cross-selling.
Maintain basic operational knowledge of ATM, ADWM, INB, UPI, and other digital tools.
