Objective To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Innovation Center Lab for Switchgear and Wiring Devices (WD), ensuring accurate and compliant testing of low voltage products as per IS/IEC standards. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting cross-functional teams and driving lab excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and type testing of Switchgear and Wiring Devices as per IS/IEC standards. Lead lab operations including manpower management, QMS, technician training, and audit readiness. Operate and maintain testing instruments; oversee calibration and preventive maintenance activities. Record, analyze, and report test results; ensure proper documentation and retention. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during testing. Support root cause analysis for test failures and assist in implementing corrective actions. Coordinate with design and quality teams for test planning and execution. Maintain calibration records and ensure AMC-based preventive maintenance of lab equipment. Train team members on testing procedures and develop SOPs. Prepare and manage Lab MIS reports and improvement projects. Conduct Gauge R&R studies and support NABL-related activities.
