About Government Coverage Group (GCG):

The Government Coverage Group (GCG) is authorized to handle all Government Banking transactions viz, collection of direct taxes, collection of GST, disbursement of Central Civil as well as Defence Pensions. It is also associated with the e-Governance initiatives aimed at providing better services to the citizens. The group is driving Fund based and Non-Fund based business from various sectors and public sector undertakings.

About the Role:

The State Head is responsible for planning, developing and managing client relationships and delivering a suite of banking services and products to a portfolio of PSU and Government Clients in order to ensure profit maximization, maintain quality assets, liabilities growth, and customer satisfaction. As a team leader, is responsible to mentor and guide the team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact to the mapped Government clients and PSU including Subsidiaries
• Acquire new clients to increase customer base
• Achieve fee and NII, TxB income, Forex and Derivative business and CASA targets from the mapped clients
• Deepen relationship through cross sell of retail products
• Guide and mentor the teams assigned for better growth
• Increase share of wallet across products from GCG clients while maintaining asset quality
• Create linkages between different departments and clients for ensuring highest income from the account

Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

• Graduation/ MBA from a recognized university
• 7+ years of relevant experience
