As an accomplished Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and design of wastewater supply schemes, including costing, coordination, and specifications. Reporting to the Discipline Team Lead, your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with other project team members - Respecting deadlines and achieving targeted results - Analyzing data and bridging gaps - Conducting hydraulic modelling using software such as SewerGEMS - Having hands-on experience with ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD - Experience with WaterGEMS and Civil3D would be advantageous - Developing wastewater models to investigate constraints and generate solutions - Master planning wastewater infrastructure for medium to large cities - Conducting catchment planning, options evaluation, and cost estimation - Preparing presentations and presenting schemes to clients for approval - Undertaking project tasks and engineering design at various stages in the project life cycle, ensuring technical excellence and best practice to specification - Providing input to Designers/Draftsmen for drawing preparation, reviewing/checking drawings, and guiding designers/draftsmen - Interacting and coordinating with other disciplines for input and additional information required for work completion At Jacobs, we emphasize the value of collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are essential for our culture and client delivery. Requirements for the Engineer-Wastewater position include: - Master planning and hydraulic engineering design experience on wastewater/sewerage projects - Thorough experience in the water sector with a level of expertise and experience appropriate for the role - A minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognized university; a Masters in environmental/Water Resource Engineering would be beneficial - 2-6 years of experience in water/wastewater projects - Performing hydraulic analysis and calculations for medium to large cities, evaluating existing system capacity, developing wastewater supply strategies for future flows, and conducting optioneering and multi-criteria analysis - Integrating well with a large, multi-cultural, high-performing team and having the flexibility to meet project demands including quality standards, data gaps, and timelines,
