Job Title: Warehouse / Distribution Manager Location : Bhiwandi Department : Supply Chain / Logistics Experience : Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry Qualification : Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations or related field Employment Type : Full-Time Position Overview: The Warehouse cum Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse located in Bhiwandi, ensuring the efficient and compliant handling of pharmaceutical goods. This includes managing warehousing activities, dispatches, logistics, and distribution to stockists and CFA centers across India. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, operational, and analytical skills, and have hands-on experience in SAP and GST invoicing. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Management Oversee and manage all warehouse functions including receiving, inventory storage, order processing, and dispatch. Ensure daily activities such as loading/unloading, sorting, labeling, and inventory control are executed seamlessly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Regulatory, Production Planning, and Finance for smooth operations. Team Leadership and Workforce Management Lead and manage warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring high-quality performance. Provide training and guidance to team members on operational SOPs and best practices. Monitor adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Inventory and Dispatch Management Maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure 100% inventory accuracy. Manage dispatch planning to stockists and CFA centres, adhering to monthly targets and timely deliveries. Coordinate with transport and logistics partners for efficient material movement. System and Documentation Develop and maintain SOPs for all warehouse activities including material handling, storage, dispatch, and gate controls. Ensure proper documentation of all transactions, records, and reports in line with regulatory requirements. Manage GST invoice generation, E-way bill creation, and other statutory documentation. MIS and Reporting Prepare and present MIS reports, stock statements, distribution status, and logistics dashboards at defined intervals. Analyze warehouse data for improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions where needed. Infrastructure and Compliance Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, pest control, and maintenance of the warehouse infrastructure. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and company standards. Ensure adherence to pharma warehousing norms and documentation as per DCA and regulatory audits. Technology and Tools Operate SAP (preferably MM/WM/SD modules) for inventory and logistics management. Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for report generation, presentations, and data analysis. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution systems. Leadership skills with experience in team management and performance development. Expertise in SAP (MM/WM/SD modules preferred). Working knowledge of GST invoicing and E-way bill processes. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Analytical mindset with strong data orientation and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Candidate Profile: 10+ years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse or distribution center. Experience in managing operations involving multiple dispatch destinations across India. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical logistics.
