As an Event Support Assistant, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of events and activities. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect: - **Event Packing**: - Pack and prepare materials for daily and weekend events with accuracy and care. - Maintain proper labeling, inventory, and cleanliness of packing areas. - **Event Delivery and Handling**: - Safely transport materials to event venues on time. - Set up event areas and ensure all materials are returned properly after each event. - Handle logistics efficiently and responsibly. - **Event Support and Activity Assistance**: - Support the anchor or lead educator during children's science events and workshops. - Assist in conducting activities, managing children, and handling show materials on-site. - **Event Execution**: - Go with materials to events and support the team. - **General Coordination**: - Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth event execution. - Maintain accountability for materials issued and returned. In addition to your daily tasks, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications: - Ability to read and write in English (basic communication skills required). - Physically active and comfortable with field work (event setups and deliveries). - Responsible, punctual, and organized. - Interest in working with children and learning new science-based activities. - Previous experience in events, packing, or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.
