Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:
Warehouse assistants receive incoming shipments, unload materials from trucks, and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders.
Inventory Management:
They organize and store products in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and placement.They also conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and prevent stockouts.
Order Fulfillment:
They pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Shipping and Receiving:
They assist with loading and unloading trucks, preparing items for shipment, and recording shipping details.
Equipment Operation:
They may operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery to move and store goods, requiring proper training and adherence to safety regulations.
Maintaining a Safe and Organized Workspace:
Warehouse assistants are responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized, removing safety hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
They work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflows.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
They may be responsible for maintaining inventory records, documenting shipments, and preparing reports.
