Walk in interview for Guest Faculty

A walk-in interview for four (04) posts of Guest Faculty will be held in the Department of

French and Francophone Studies on Friday,30th Septembet 2022 at I2:00 Noon'

The candidates must bring a detailed CV along with original certificates, degrees and

other supporting documents. (Documents to be submitted by candidates from 10:30 AM to

l1:30 AM)

Essential l. M.A. in French with at least 55% rnarks (50% for SC/ST/Physically:
Oualifications & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale

wherever grading system is followed at the Master's degree level in a

relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree

from an accredited foreign University.

2. UGCNET

3. Ph.D. in the re.levant subject (French)

Note: i) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University

Grants Commission (Minimum standard and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree)
Regulati}s, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility

condition of NET.

ii) Candidates with specialization in Novel (French & Francophone), Poetry, Drama,
Translation and Linguistics will be given preference.

iii) The appointment shall be made as per University Grants Commission Regulation,20l8.

The above assignment is on lecture basis with an honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture with an

upper limit of Rs. 25000/- per month.

Note: In case there are no suitable candidates having UGC NET required as a condition for

minimum eligiblity are available, then candidates having a Masters degree with a good score may

be.considered to teach lower classes, i.e. Certificate or Diplorna courses in French, provided that

they give an undertaking to pass the NET examination within a period of 2 years positively.
