Accounting Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge of bookkeeping...Posting transactions, Preparing and checking ledger balances, bank reconciliation etc
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Ability to process payroll
• Responsible for adhering to deadlines for the task allocated
• Responsible for payroll, VAT & other accounts reconciliation
  

Communication with Accounting Manager, Client manager, Clients

• Provide responses to the accounting manager email/queries in agreed timeline
• Escalate/inform issues to the Accounting Manager well in advance, if unable to complete jobs in the budgeted time or in agreed timely manner.
  

Other Responsibilities

• Self-directed workflow management (ability to work directly with the AM)
• Time Budget management
• Adherence to hybrid and TeamSpace working pattern as agreed with management.
• Adherence to all the Company policies especially Timesheet and Leave Policy.
  

Essential Requirements, Attributes, And Skills

• Software proficiency - XERO; SAGE; MS TEAMS; Excel; MS OFFICE 365; SHAREPOINT)
• Xero and Hubdoc certified
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS office
• Enthusiastic, honest, and reliable.
• A flexible team player with a motivational hands-on approach and can-do attitude
• Uses initiative and actively identifies and resolves issues when they arise
• Demonstrate continuous self-development.
  

Key Expectations

• Certification Xero, Hubdoc and Sage payroll certification
• Time Utilization > 50% (Post training)
• Responsible for completion of full sets of working papers
