Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

To ensure proper handling, storage, documentation, and disposal of biological samples, chemicals, and laboratory materials in compliance with GLP, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, label, log, store, and retrieve biological samples (plasma, serum, urine, tissue, etc.) as per SOPs.
Maintain sample storage areas such as deep freezers, refrigerators, and cold rooms under defined conditions.
Monitor and record storage temperatures; report deviations immediately.
Ensure proper segregation, handling, and disposal of biohazard and chemical waste.
Maintain accurate inventory records, sample chain-of-custody logs, and tracking documentation.
Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation and sample traceability.
Follow data integrity, safety, and confidentiality requirements at all times.
Coordinate with analysts and QA for sample issuance and reconciliation.
Assist in cleaning and upkeep of storage areas and equipment.
Comply with EHS, GLP, GCP, and company quality policies.

Experience:

Fresher To 03 years of experience in laboratory/sample management roles.
Experience in pharma, CRO, or bioanalytical labs is preferred.
