This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to ensure the plant’s efficiency and competitiveness. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership Develop and implement Industrial Engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive continuous improvement culture through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Lead capacity planning and facility layout optimization for existing and future production requirements. 2. Process Optimization & Productivity Analise workflows, production methods, and workforce utilization to improve efficiency. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and time standards for all manufacturing processes. Implement automation and digital manufacturing initiatives (Industry 4.0). 3. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and safety. Optimize resource utilization—manpower, machinery, and materials. Conduct Value Stream Mapping and cost-benefit analysis for process changes. 4. New Process Introduction: Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams for smooth introduction of new processes. Ensure manufacturability, scalability, cost-effectiveness and customer acceptance. 5. Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop the IE & MSE team. Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. Ensure training programs for shop floor personnel to enhance productivity and skills. 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure all process improvements comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Support to maintain ISO, AS9100, and other relevant industry certifications through robust process control. Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and change management skills. Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), TPM, and other CI tools. Hands-on experience with capacity planning, plant layout, and time-motion studies. Exposure to aerospace, defense, nuclear, or heavy machinery manufacturing preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement.
