Job Title: Steward – Kerala Cuisine Restaurant Location: Kerala Tiffin, Whitefield, Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Manager Job Summary: We are looking for a courteous and efficient Steward to join our team at our Kerala cuisine restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a basic understanding of Kerala-style dishes. Ability to communicate in Malayalam and familiarity with regional food names and culture will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices. Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service. Explain Kerala dishes and preparation styles when required. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area. Ensure guest satisfaction and handle queries or complaints professionally. Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting. Preferred Skills & Experience: Prior experience in a South Indian or Kerala cuisine restaurant is a plus Knowledge of Kerala dishes (e.g., Appam, Puttu, Meen Curry, etc.) Fluency in Malayalam and basic English or Hindi Friendly and approachable attitude Good communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety Educational Qualification: No formal education required; training will be provided High school or hospitality course is a bonus Perks:Staff meals Uniform provided Tips/incentives Opportunities for growth and promotions
