Job Description

Design and develop test cases for software modules based on Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).
Collaborate with technical leads, hardware designers, and RAMS departments to validate and verify software modules.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for software module integration and functional testing.
Conduct peer reviews and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Support project managers in resource and schedule management to ensure timely delivery.
Consolidate design issues and propose definitive solutions to improve overall system performance.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Engineering IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
Proven ability to test software modules as per SIL levels with a strong knowledge of testing techniques like black box, white box, equivalence class, boundary value analysis, and robustness analysis.
Experience with tools like RTRT, VectorCast, and static analysis tools (e.g., QAC, AdaControl).
Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Ada, and familiarity with RTOS environments like Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
Understanding of industry standards like CENELEC SIL4, DO178A/B, and 50128, and knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP and CAN.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and mentor team members.
Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with diverse teams.
Patience and resilience to repeat tests as needed.
