As a Senior Cloud DevOps Manager specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AI/ML, and GenAI, you will play a crucial role in spearheading our cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy. Your primary responsibilities will involve leading and guiding a talented team of DevOps and cloud engineers, architecting scalable and secure infrastructure on GCP, and establishing CI/CD pipelines for both traditional applications and AI/ML/GenAI workloads. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with data science and ML engineering teams to implement MLOps and GenAI pipelines, oversee containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager. Monitoring system reliability, observability, and performance, optimizing cloud costs, governance, and compliance, as well as evaluating and integrating emerging DevOps and AI/ML tools will also be part of your core responsibilities. Your technical expertise should encompass in-depth knowledge of various Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, and BigQuery. Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD, along with experience in IaC tools like Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, and Ansible will be essential. Furthermore, familiarity with containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes (preferably GKE), Helm, monitoring tools like Google Cloud Operations Suite and Prometheus, scripting languages like Python, Bash, and NodeJs, as well as AI/ML technologies including Vertex AI, Kubeflow, MLflow, LangChain, Hugging Face, and OpenAI APIs are highly desirable. Knowledge of security and compliance aspects such as IAM, VPC, service accounts, and secrets management will also be crucial for this role. In addition to technical skills, you are expected to possess strong non-technical skills such as leadership capabilities to lead cross-functional teams, strategic thinking to align DevOps and cloud strategies with business objectives, effective collaboration skills to work with various teams, clear communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and innovation, and agility to thrive in fast-paced environments using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over 12 years of experience in DevOps/cloud roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. GCP certifications like Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect, experience in deploying and managing AI/ML and GenAI models in production, and familiarity with data governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices will be advantageous for this role.,
