Job Description

As a Vice President - Private Banker at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing high-value client relationships, delivering customized wealth solutions, and driving strategic growth for the Private Bank. Your success in this role will be determined by your strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. You may be evaluated based on your ability to build trusted client relationships, deliver tailored financial solutions, and demonstrate regulatory and market awareness. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, analyze data to identify trends and insights, and offer additional services to support client needs. - Research client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations. - Design custom solutions that address client's specific needs, using a range of products and services. - Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, negotiate terms beneficial for both client and the bank. - Provide guidance to clients for their financial decisions, offer expert investment advice, risk management strategies, and updates on market trends. - Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implement measures to minimize potential losses. - Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability. - Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts. **Qualifications Required:** - Educated to Degree level - Appropriate regulatory qualifications - Fluent in English and Hindi - Fluency in other Indian languages is an added advantage (regionally-specific) The purpose of this role is to establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients, bridging the gap between the bank's offerings and clients" needs to ensure mutual benefit and long-term success. As a Vice President, you are expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change. You will manage resources, budgets, and policies, deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
