VP, Engineering

As the VP of Software Engineering at our company, you will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and leading our India-based engineering teams. Reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering, you will have full ownership over engineering delivery in India. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring clear and transparent communication, fostering collaboration across geographies, and maintaining high standards of quality, accountability, productivity, and transparency throughout the organization. It will be essential for you to establish alignment between the India and US teams while consistently driving impactful results through effective leadership. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Developing and executing a technology roadmap that aligns with business and product goals - Building and scaling the India engineering organization to support global technology initiatives - Leading and coaching the leadership team to encourage engagement and professional growth - Overseeing the development of scalable, high-performance, and secure software solutions - Implementing and refining engineering processes to ensure high quality, efficiency, and agility - Managing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships effectively - Establishing and monitoring key performance metrics for engineering productivity and system reliability - Defining, implementing, and monitoring consistent engineering practices and architectures - Collaborating with various departments to drive world-class excellence within the India engineering teams Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related engineering field, a minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in a software product environment, and at least 10 years of management experience in product or application development and engineering. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving continuous improvements, attracting and retaining high-performing engineering teams, and delivering on technical and business strategies. Additionally, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and a strong commitment to customer experience are essential for this position. You should also have knowledge of various tools and technologies relevant to web application development, integrations, and API design and development.
