Voice Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Developer for the Voice team, your primary mission is to focus on voice software development for IVI platform and products. You are expected to be proficient in integrating various voice solutions such as Cerence, Alexa, Google, etc. Additionally, having a strong grasp of the Android framework, Java, and Kotlin programming languages is essential for excelling in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in coding C++ - Experience with RTOS & OS (Linux/Android) - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Understanding of embedded hardware, including datasheets and schematics - Familiarity with Google, Alexa, and Cerence technologies - Knowledge of infotainment products - Experience with configuration management and defect management tools Key Year One Deliverables: - Develop reusable assets across various Voice SDKs for seamless integration into various automotive use cases - Create production-ready modules for at least one domain such as Media, Navigation, Radio, etc. - Ensure work products are delivered with proper unit testing using any framework Qualification Required: - Masters or bachelor's degree in Engineering - 7-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a regional or global environment - Proficiency in C++ programming language - Strong voice domain skills - Integration knowledge of voice solutions like Cerence, Alexa, Google, etc. - Understanding of communication protocols - Good grasp of OS-related tasks and memory profiling - Experience in Android Studio IDE development and debugging - Proficiency in Android app development using Java and understanding of app development concepts - Skills for analyzing and fixing issues in the app layer - Knowledge of Android Test Frameworks - Familiarity with tools such as GIT, Gerrit, JIRA, Android Studio, VSCode, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity - Understanding of Google Test Framework and testing frameworks used in Android like Junit, Mockito (Note: Additional details about the company are not provided in the job description.),
