Job Overview

International Delhi Public School is seeking a talented and passionate Vocal Music Teacher to join our academic and cultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing students’ musical abilities, vocal techniques, and appreciation for music while contributing to the school’s cultural and extracurricular programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

Teach vocal music to students across different grade levels as per the school curriculum
Train students in classical, semi-classical, devotional, and contemporary vocal musicConduct regular vocal practice sessions and voice modulation exercisesPrepare students for school assemblies, competitions, cultural programs, and eventsIdentify and nurture musical talent among studentsPlan structured music lessons and practice schedulesMaintain discipline and a positive learning environment during music classesCollaborate with teachers and coordinators for school functions and celebrationsAssess student progress and provide constructive feedbackEnsure proper care and use of musical instruments and audio equipment

Required Qualifications & Skills

Degree or certification in Vocal Music or a related field
Formal training in vocal music (classical or contemporary preferred)Prior teaching experience in a school environment is preferredStrong vocal skills and knowledge of music theoryAbility to engage and motivate students of different age groupsGood communication and classroom management skillsPassion for music education and cultural development
