VMware Architect

As an AVS Tech Architect for Azure VMware Solutions, you will play a crucial role in leading complex cloud and infrastructure transformations. Your primary focus will be on migrating on-premise VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and plan end-to-end AVS deployments and migrations. - Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to define cloud strategy and design. - Review, design, and implement solutions across AVS, VMware, and Azure technologies. - Create solution documentation, best practices, and knowledge assets. Technical Expertise Required: - Proficiency in Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware vSphere 6.0+, and VMware vSAN. - Experience with VMware NSX-T including network virtualization, firewall, gateway, DNS/DHCP, and NSX migrations. - Knowledge of VMware HCX (Advanced/Enterprise) for on-premise to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations. - Familiarity with Azure networking services such as ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, and Route Server. - Hands-on experience with Azure monitoring/security tools and 3rd-party virtual appliances like firewalls, load balancers, and routers. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with VMware SRM, vSphere Replication, and VMware management suite (vROps, vRNI, vRLI, vCD). - Knowledge of Azure Disk Pools and Azure NetApp Files. In this role, you are expected to have expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture, Cloud Solution Architecture, Enterprise Cloud Architecture, AVS, VMware vSphere, VMware NSX-T, and VMware HCX.
