Job Description:

• The VM Engineer will have to provide day-to-day technical support and administration of the technology infrastructure.

• The primary responsibilities of VM engineer will be Install, configure, and troubleshoot Server systems.

• Provide first tier response, analysis and resolution planning for detected issues and seeks appropriate resolution of issues.

• Play a key role in system uptime and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Problem management and issue resolution for server issues.

• Conducting timely and effective root cause analysis.

•Installation of ESX Servers, vSphere Client and vCenter Server

• Create the datastore for storing VMs and data

• Deploy Virtual Machines and use Clones, Snapshots, templates

• Health Check for VMs and ESX host

• Present / Assign LUN to ESX host

• Configure HA, use DRS, Backups, vMotion, P2v V2V conversion

• Manage Host storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)

• Manage and Upgrade Virtual Center

• Manage VM's/Build/Retire

• Manage Templates and Clusters

• Coordination with vendor

• VM Trouble shooting

• First level issue triage and manage escalation

• Resolve user configuration / authentication issues

• Escalating the calls to vendor/principal/TSG whenever required.

• Analyze reports & recommend changes to process/technology where ever required,

• Patch and security configuration compliance (includes virus detection for server and client)

• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and other Windows activities. rearrange this

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹28,000.00 per month
