VMC Setter/operator/programmer

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced VMC Setter cum Operator & Programmer for a leading manufacturing company in Chennai location. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in VMC programming, setting, and machining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent setting, operating, and programming of VMC machines
• Create, edit, and prove CNC programs at machine
• Work on Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers
• Tool setting, offset setting, and job proving
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Monitor machining process to meet quality and production targets
• Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma / BE – Mechanical
• Experience: 3 to 9 years in VMC programming & setting
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools
• Ability to work independently
• Immediate to 30 days notice period preferred
