VMC Operator (Machine Shop)

Job Title: VMC Operator (Machine Shop)
Location: Sanaswadi, Pune
Experience: 0–1 Year

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate VMC machines for machining components as per production plan
• Perform basic machine setup, tool setting, and job loading/unloading
• Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
• Measure and inspect parts using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and daily checklist activities
• Maintain proper production records and follow SOPs
• Adhere to safety rules and shop-floor discipline

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Turner) or Diploma in Mechanical
• Basic knowledge of VMC operations and cutting tools
• Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
• Willingness to learn, flexible, and team-oriented
• Freshers with relevant training or apprenticeship can apply
