• Set up, calibrate, and operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for manufacturing.​
• Load raw materials, prepare tools, and verify machine setup before production runs.​
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, process sheets, and CNC programs to execute machining tasks.​
• Monitor machining operations, inspect and measure finished products, and compare results against specifications using precision instruments.​
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.​
• Maintain accurate production records, inspection logs, and documentation.​
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.​
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any machining or quality concerns.​

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating VMC or similar CNC machinery.​
• Technical knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and CNC operation.​
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.​
• Basic troubleshooting skills and understanding of routine machine maintenance.​
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and quality assurance focus.​
• Teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.​
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.​
