VMC/ CNC Operator

Job Title: VMC / CNC Machine Operator
Location: Dabaspet, Karnataka
Experience: 2 - 5 years

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled VMC/CNC Machine Operators with strong experience in operating and setting CNC/VMC machines (Fanuc control). The ideal candidate should be capable of reading 2D engineering drawings, interpreting GD&T, and producing high-precision components within micron-level tolerance.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and job specifications clearly.
• Set up and operate VMC machines efficiently and independently.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc control systems.
• Apply strong GD&T knowledge while machining components.
• Work with tight tolerances in the range of 5 to 10 microns.
• Perform work offset using dial indicator or edge finder.
• Take tool offset using presetters (training will be provided).
• Carry out 2D programming, and knowledge of 3D programming is an added advantage.
• Understand and use D-value (diameter compensation).
• Use precision measuring instruments such as:
• Vernier caliper
• Micrometer
• Bore gauge
• Height gauge
• Pin gauge
• Slip gauge
• Good working knowledge of G-codes and M-codes.
• Edit machining programs as required to ensure part quality and productivity.
• Perform basic maintenance of VMC machines.
• Ensure completion of required documentation such as:
• Daily production log sheet
• Stage inspection sheet

Requirements

• Proven experience in VMC/CNC machine setting and operating.
• Strong knowledge of precision machining and measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to follow quality and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
