VMC & CNC machine Operator

As a VMC & CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and CNC machines to ensure the production of high-quality components. Your responsibilities will include setting up, programming, and operating the machines according to technical drawings and specifications. You will utilize your knowledge of G-code programming, CNC control systems, and precision instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Your expertise in VMC and CNC operations will be essential as you interpret engineering drawings, prepare machine setups, and adjust settings to optimize performance and minimize errors. Additionally, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting machine errors, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance machine operations and quality control. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of VMC and CNC machine operations, including tool selection, programming, and workpiece setup. Proficiency in G-code programming, reading engineering drawings, and familiarity with CNC controls and software systems such as Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens will be required. Your ability to work with cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and ensure machine calibration and tool offsets will be crucial for success. Ideally, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining being preferred. Previous experience as a VMC or CNC Machine Operator will be beneficial, along with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce high-precision work. This permanent position offers a salary ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 per month, with additional benefits including daily overtime, one-time food provision during shifts, and Provident Fund. The work location is in IThennampalayam, Coimbatore, with a rotational shift schedule and opportunities for yearly bonuses. Day and night shift availability is preferred, and in-person work is required.
