You are a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator responsible for operating and managing CNC machinery in the production of modular furniture and interior components. Your main tasks include operating CNC router machines, loading and unloading materials, interpreting technical drawings, performing machine calibration and maintenance, ensuring high-quality finish of components, coordinating with design and production teams, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area. Additionally, you are required to record machine usage, maintain logs, and prepare daily production reports. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a furniture or modular manufacturing setup. Proficiency in operating CNC routers and panel processing machines is essential, along with familiarity with design and nesting software like AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, or ArtCAM. A strong understanding of materials, laminates, edge banding, and modular joinery is also necessary, coupled with attention to detail and the ability to follow technical specifications accurately. Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment are important, along with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Preferred qualifications for this role include an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Wood Technology, or CNC Operations, as well as experience in furniture/interior manufacturing companies. The job is full-time and permanent, with benefits such as paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund. Ensure adherence to machine performance metrics and operational matrix. Prepare and present Failure Analysis (FA) reports and participate in F1-level technical review meetings. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and collaborate closely with the AE (Automation Engineering) team for sustaining operations. Track and drive improvements on machine yield and meet equipment tossing and POR yield targets. Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues and improve equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and recover machine downtime related to pneumatic controllers and various sensors such as Photoelectric, Proximity, Fiber Optical, and Laser. Execute machine calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) activities. Monitor and analyze machine performance metrics including MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), correlation, and calibration effectiveness. Configure and optimize CCD systems with basic knowledge of light exposure parameters. Interpret and execute basic electrical wiring diagrams for system integration and troubleshooting. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with PLC and CCD systems. Strong knowledge in equipment repair and sensor technology. Good understanding of electrical and pneumatic system diagnostics. Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and execution. Knowledge of calibration tools, measurement techniques, and system documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment. Preferred: Experience in semiconductor/automation equipment servicing is an added advantage. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
