Description
As a logistics co-worker for the Full serve department at IKEA, your primary responsibility will be picking up customer orders using manual labor, pallet lifter, and driving a forklift. You will be expected to pack and handle several tons of goods daily, ensuring that the right goods are packed quickly and without any damages or flaws. Working independently but with colleagues nearby, you will pick orders from the store as well as click & collect orders. Additionally, you will be involved in the maintenance of machinery, cleaning up the department, and collaborating with colleagues from other logistics departments, customer service, and sales. Qualifications required for this role include: - Must have a Danish license for operating forklifts, or a forklift license from a EU, EEA country or Switzerland, eligible for approval by Arbejdstilsynet - Good physical shape and ability to handle manual labor - Motivated by prioritizing and organizing work efficiently - Skilled at creating overviews with attention to detail - Good self-discipline and thrive in routine tasks Working at IKEA, you will be part of an international team focused on efficient logistics and providing excellent customer service. Despite not having direct customer contact, you will collaborate closely with various departments, gaining experience in working with diverse groups of people. The working environment is fast-paced, supportive, and encourages teamwork, allowing you to be yourself and build a strong social network. Adequate training will be provided to ensure you feel safe and competent in your role.
