Description
As a Logistics Co-Worker for the Full Serve department at IKEA, you will be utilizing your physical capabilities to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. Operating within the part of the warehouse that is not accessible to customers, you will primarily be responsible for picking up customer orders using manual labor, pallet lifters, and forklifts. Your role will involve packing and handling several tons of goods daily, ensuring that the orders are prepared promptly and without any damages or defects. Working independently but in close proximity to your colleagues, you will also be involved in maintaining machinery, cleaning the department, and collaborating with other logistics departments, customer service, and sales teams. To excel in this position, you must possess a Danish forklift license or an equivalent from an EU, EEA country, or Switzerland, eligible for approval by Arbejdstilsynet. Being in good physical shape, having a knack for prioritization and organization, attention to detail, self-discipline, and the ability to thrive in routine tasks are essential qualities for success in this role. With a working schedule averaging 10 hours per week, you can expect varying shifts based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
