Visual Editor Trainer

As a Visual Editor Trainer, you will play a crucial role in educating and mentoring individuals who aspire to become proficient visual editors. Your primary responsibility will be to impart hands-on training using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc. You will guide learners in mastering editing fundamentals such as timeline editing, color correction, sound design, transitions, effects, and exporting. In this role, you will lead learners through real-world projects to enhance their storytelling and editing skills. It will be essential for you to develop training materials, tutorials, assignments, and assessments to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Staying updated with the latest trends and tools in video production and editing will be crucial to deliver relevant and effective training sessions. Your role will also involve providing constructive feedback on students" work, supporting them in skill improvement, monitoring progress, evaluating performance, and adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Collaboration with curriculum designers and program coordinators will be necessary to ensure alignment with the overall training objectives. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a visual/video editor, with at least 1 year of experience as a trainer. Proficiency in at least two major editing software platforms is required. Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or training will be advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills, a creative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to engage and manage classes effectively, whether in-person or online, are essential for success in this role. This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week during day shifts. The job location is in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
