Visual Designer

As a Visual Designer at our company, your primary responsibility will be to align with and contribute to design patterns, UI kits, and guidelines. You will work within agile delivery teams, utilizing continuous design practices to test, measure, and learn. Facilitating design processes and workshops will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring engagement of relevant team members and keeping all stakeholders informed and involved in solution development, timelines, and issues. Additionally, you will actively participate in team rituals, practices, and workshops. It will be essential for you to maintain a strong understanding of backend systems and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that customer journeys, interactions, and UI are seamless in both design and build phases. The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile and fast-paced environment is crucial. Communication with team members to ensure alignment on design solutions, timelines, and blockers will also be a key part of your role. You should possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong technical skills in various design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma. Navigating ambiguity to deliver quality outcomes, being pragmatic in designing around constraints, and adapting to changing requirements are skills that will be highly valued. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product owners, iteration managers, copywriters, engineers, and delivery managers is essential. Your role will require strong visual design and illustration skills, with a passion for simple, elegant, and innovative design. Experience in designing for mobile and desktop platforms, including responsive and adaptive web design, is necessary. Hands-on experience in digital design, particularly in visual design, UI design, and prototyping, will be beneficial. You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of personal design deliverables and delivering a consistently branded customer experience across diverse digital environments. Strong communication and negotiation skills will be important, as you will need to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Creativity, flexibility, and energy are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization will be advantageous. While experience in an Agile environment is desirable, it is not essential as long as you are open to receiving guidance and mentorship from senior team members.
