Visual Design & Developer

As a Visual Design & Developer specializing in Digital Learning Solutions at Volvo Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. Your expertise in eLearning design and development will be crucial in working with next-gen technologies and collaborative teams on a global scale. The role entails closely collaborating with Instructional Designers, Visual Design & Developers, and the Head of Digital Learning Solutions to create and implement eLearning materials, digital solutions, videos, illustrations, and animations. Your responsibilities will include utilizing tools such as Animate CC, Captivate, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Articulate Storyline, and similar applications to design and develop training content for mobile distribution. To excel in this position, you must be self-directed, well-versed in WBT trends, and project-oriented. Proficiency in HTML5 is essential for creating effective eLearning solutions. Core skills required for this role include a strong understanding of the eLearning process, multimedia development, object-oriented programming, and integration of audio and video in various formats. Desirable abilities for this role include contributing visual approaches to project proposals, building effective relationships with team members and clients, performing well under pressure, and demonstrating creativity and decision-making skills. Additionally, organizational skills, effective communication, and adaptability to changing circumstances are valued qualities. Ideal candidates for this position will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Elearning Design/Development, Web Design/Development, Multimedia & Communication, or related disciplines. A solid background in eLearning design principles, adult learning theories, information mapping, and approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in eLearning design and development within the industry are preferred qualifications.
