AutoZone is currently seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer responsible for planning and deploying the cloud network infrastructure. The engineer will be involved in planning, costing, upgrading, designing, supporting, and creating new and enhanced hybrid cloud networks. Key Responsibilities: - Engage in and improve the lifecycle of services, from inception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement. - Build reusable designs and systems that promote scale, reliability, security, and efficiency. - Support the software and systems that manage the network and serve as a technical, engineering, and operational subject matter expert. - Participate in the on-call schedule with other team members to provide third-tier support and resolve complex issues. - Support the deployment and lifecycle of IP telephony and conferencing solutions. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field preferred. - Minimum of 7 years of network engineering experience and 2-3 years of cloud network engineering experience required. GCP experience is highly desirable. - Hands-on experience with cloud networking (GCP preferred), understanding of core infrastructure/network services in the cloud, Terraform, automation, logging/monitoring is necessary. - Google Network certification is a plus. - Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid data center technologies. - Experience with Cisco Networking (routers, switches, Meraki APs) infrastructure is desirable. - High-level understanding of Cisco Viptela SD-WAN. - Good understanding of Routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, TCP/IP, NAT, and security protocols like TACACS/RADIUS. - Experience with network management systems such as Solarwinds, NetQoS. - Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco-based networks. - Familiarity with using virtual machines in a VMWare ESX environment. As part of your primary responsibilities, you will design large-scale enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, switches, firewalls, and other network-related hardware. You will also be involved in designing and implementing Data Center technologies such as VXLAN, Cisco ACI, and NSX Overlay. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing network monitoring and observability capabilities, managing core services like DHCP, DNS, IP address Management, and Load Balancing, and defining architecture and hardware requirements for project proposals. Your role will also include executing day-to-day service requests, managing network capacity and performance, and identifying opportunities for network performance improvement. Furthermore, you will be expected to participate in development efforts to introduce automation into the network environment, ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices, and collaborate with key stakeholders on technical design and deployment strategies. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert, provide consulting support to the business and end-user organizations, maintain engineering documentation, and work closely with the Cybersecurity organization to conduct security assessments. To qualify for this role, you should have a graduate degree or equivalent with 8 years of network experience in multinational enterprises. Your expertise should include designing enterprise-scale routing and switching environments, MPLS/VPN, SD-WAN, WLAN, Virtualization, ACI, Storage, Network Topologies, Load balancing, QoS, and Cisco ACI. Knowledge of multitenancy environments is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare-related industries, regulated environments, and familiarity with various products/environments such as Cisco Routers and Switches, SDWAN technologies, Infoblox, Cisco DNA center, Cloud networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, and more.
