Job Description

Role & responsibilities Translate written and spoken content accurately from English to Vietnamese and vice versa Ensure the translated content maintains the original meaning, tone, and style Review and proofread translations to ensure high quality and consistency Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, technical, and creative departments Localize documents, websites, software, and marketing materials for the Vietnamese market Manage multiple translation projects and meet tight deadlines Use translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) effectively Stay updated with industry terminology and language trends Assist in interpreting during meetings, conferences, or calls when required Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information Provide cultural insight and advice to ensure appropriate messaging for Vietnamese audiences Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Vietnamese Language, or a related field 2 to 7 years of professional experience in Vietnamese translation or localization Excellent command of both Vietnamese and English languages, with strong writing and grammar skills Proven experience translating a variety of content types, including technical, legal, marketing, or creative materials Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar translation software Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and culturally appropriate translations Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently under deadlines Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams
