Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into high-quality video content, ensuring that the final product aligns with the desired style, tone, and objectives.
• Add sound effects, music, voiceovers, and audio adjustments.
• Perform color correction and grading to enhance the visual appeal of video content.
• Work with other team members to develop concepts and storyboards for new videos.
• Collaborate with the marketing, production, and design teams to meet project deadlines.
• Manage and organize video assets and project files for efficient workflow.
• Implement feedback from directors, producers, or clients and make necessary revisions.
• Stay up-to-date with video editing techniques, software, and trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 5 years as a Video Editor or similar role (portfolio or demo reel required).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects (using tools like After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and resolution.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and an eye for visual storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and video encoding processes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of additional software like Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Experience with 360-degree or VR video editing is a bonus.
• Experience in social media content creation (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
