As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing raw footage to create engaging video content for various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and websites. You will collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and target audience, enhancing videos with music, voiceovers, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects. Ensuring consistent branding, tone, and quality across all video content is crucial. Your role also involves organizing and archiving video assets and project files, staying updated with industry trends and editing techniques, and optimizing video content for different platforms and resolutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Editing raw footage into polished video content for different platforms - Collaborating with the creative team to understand project goals and target audience - Adding music, voiceovers, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance videos - Ensuring consistent branding, tone, and quality across all video content - Organizing and archiving video assets and project files - Staying up-to-date with industry trends and editing techniques - Optimizing video content for various platforms and resolutions Qualifications required for this role: - Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role - Proficiency with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve - Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., After Effects) is a plus - Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects - Attention to detail and strong communication skills - Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work Preferred qualifications: - Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing - Familiarity with social media video trends - Experience in shooting videos is an added advantage Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits such as paid time off and the flexibility of working from home.
