Role & responsibilities

1. Editing and Assembling Footage

• Review raw video footage and trim, rearrange, or combine clips to create a polished final product.
  
• Ensure smooth transitions, pacing, and logical sequencing of video content.
  

2. Audio and Visual Enhancement

• Adjust sound quality, add background music, and synchronize audio with visuals.
  
• Correct color, lighting, and exposure to maintain visual consistency.
  

3. Graphics and Effects Integration

• Add text overlays, titles, lower-thirds, logos, and motion graphics.
  
• Incorporate visual effects, animations, or templates as required.
  

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with the creative team, directors, producers, and clients to understand project goals.
  
• Implement feedback and revisions in a timely and professional manner.
  

5. Project Management

• Organize, label, and maintain video files and project assets systematically.
  
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  

6. Quality Control

• Ensure final videos meet technical and creative standards (aspect ratio, resolution, compression, etc.).
  
• Deliver content in correct formats for web, social media, or broadcast.
  

7. Creative Input

• Contribute ideas for storytelling, visual style, and content improvement.
  
• Stay updated on trends, editing techniques, and industry software.
  

8. Software Proficiency

• Use professional editing software such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling, be capable of editing both long-form and short-form video content, and create eye-catching YouTube thumbnails and graphic assets.

A strong preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of camera settings, video production techniques, and on-site shooting experience.
