Now, were building our next big bet: an in-house AI-powered creative studio that produces original, scalable, and educational video IPs from scratch. Think short-form reels, storytelling formats, visual explainers, and animated explainer videos, all ideated, built, and enhanced using the latest AI tools.

What This Role Is Really About

This isnt a basic editing internship.

This role is for someone whos obsessed with how AI is transforming storytelling and video production. Youll work closely with strategists, scriptwriters, and creative leads to build video IPs from the ground up, starting with an idea or prompt and ending with a polished, platform-ready visual experience.

Job Title: Video Editor [AI First] - Intern

Internship period: 4 months

Stipend for internship period: Competitive + incentives

Conversion to full time role: Yes [Based on performance]

Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Onsite (6 days a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Build original video IPs such as educational explainers, character-led series, or scripted shorts using AI and editing tools
• Use AI tools like Runway ML, Pika, Descript, Midjourney, and ElevenLabs to speed up production and enhance creativity
• Storyboard and collaborate with the scripting team to visually bring ideas to life, including prompt-writing when necessary
• Craft short-form videos with strong hooks, smooth pacing, clear storytelling, and scroll-stopping visuals
• Develop creative workflows that scale, including AI-generated B-roll, automated captioning, or stylized scenes
• Own content from idea to final render including visual storytelling, editing, subtitles, thumbnails, and motion graphics

Youre a Great Fit If You

• Are genuinely excited about AI and creative content
• Already use tools like Runway, Descript, Pika, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar
• Are confident with editing in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Understand narrative structure and how to hold attention throughout a video
• Think visually and rhythmically and know how to make a video flow
• Write or prompt well and enjoy contributing ideas to scripts and visuals
• Can work in fast-paced content cycles, iterate quickly, and manage multiple projects
• Have a portfolio or side projects that showcase your creative range

Bonus Points For

• Experience editing short-form or vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, Reels, or TikTok
• Familiarity with educational storytelling or creators like Cleo Abram, Gohar Khan, Vox
• Understanding the business impact of content and how video drives discovery and conversion
• Motion graphics experience or prompt-based visual creation using AI image/video tools
