Job Purpose
This role focuses on end-to-end video production from conceptualization and shooting to editing and composition. The position requires a creative professional capable of visual storytelling, crafting impactful video compositions, and ensuring that all content aligns with brand identity. The goal is to deliver visually engaging, high-quality videos that enhance brand communication across digital, social, and corporate platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Video Shooting & Production
- Plan, shoot, and direct video content across various environments indoor, outdoor, interviews, events, and corporate shoots.
- Operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices to ensure high production quality.
- Set up scenes, lighting, and camera angles creatively to capture compelling visuals.
- Maintain and organize all video equipment, ensuring readiness for shoots.
- Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with brand tone and objectives.
- Creativity in preparing Animated videos.
- Apply transitions, effects, colour correction, motion graphics, and sound design to enhance visual storytelling.
- Synchronize video and audio tracks and ensure smooth flow and pacing.
- Maintain consistency in look, feel, and messaging across all videos.
- Creatively repurpose long-form videos into short-form content for digital and social platforms, highlighting impactful moments and ensuring high engagement.
- Identify key highlights, impactful moments, and narrative hooks to ensure maximum engagement in short formats.
- Add captions, motion graphics, and transitions to make content visually appealing and platform-relevant.
- Music Composition & Sound Design
- Create and compose original background scores or soundtracks tailored to the video's emotion and message.
- Mix and master audio for clarity, balance, and emotional impact.
- Integrate voiceovers, ambient sound, and musical elements to create an immersive audiovisual experience.
- Brand & Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and content teams to understand project objectives and target audience.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, visual identity, and tone.
- Bring creative input during brainstorming sessions and storyboarding stages.
- Project Management
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files, backups, and version control.
- Manage shoot schedules, production timelines, and post-production workflows efficiently.
Required Knowledge
- Education: Bachelor's degree in film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 13 years of experience in video editing, cinematography, and sound composition.
Tools.
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
- Motion Graphics/Compositing: Adobe After Effects
- Audio Tools: Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or equivalent
- Camera Equipment: DSLR/Mirrorless (Sony, Canon, etc.), gimbals, lighting kits
Required Skillset
- High degree of creativity is required
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and sound aesthetics.
- Expertise in shooting, editing, and sound composition workflows.
- Proficiency in colour grading, lighting techniques, and camera handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
