As an Editor at ExcelChamps, your role involves editing clear, engaging Excel tutorial videos to enhance viewer retention, comprehension, and watch time. You will work on various aspects including Editing & Story Flow, On-screen Education Design, Graphics & Branding, and Audio & Voice to create high-quality tutorial content. Key Responsibilities: - Edit clear and engaging Excel tutorial videos to improve viewer retention, comprehension, and watch time. - Assemble A-roll, screen captures, b-roll, and overlays into a tight narrative with a target pace of visual change every 8-15 seconds. - Trim dead air, filler, mistakes, and tighten gaps to less than 150ms where possible. - Add punch-in zooms on critical cells/ribbons, cursor highlights, and keystroke popups for formulas/steps. - Design clean lower-thirds for function names, syntax, and column header labels. - Include formula callouts using brand style, step counters, hotkeys, and before-after frames. - Maintain a consistent intro/outro, logo sting, and subscribe CTA for branding. - Use specified fonts (Montserrat for headings, Calibri/Carlito for body) and a color-safe palette with high contrast for dark/light UI. - Perform dialogue cleanup, EQ, de-essing, and adjust audio levels to ensure a high-quality viewing experience. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in video editing software and tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand style guidelines. - Experience in creating educational content is a plus.
